Other projects include the new musical Can’t Help Falling in Love and Paul Rudnick’s Valhalla. He received the Lucille Lortel Award for Outstanding Direction of Fires in the Mirror and Jeffrey, as well as an OBIE for best direction. Ashley has also been the recipient of the Princess Grace Award statuette, The Drama League Director Fellowship and an NEA/TCG Director Fellowship. Mr. Ashley directed the feature film of Jeffrey and the American Playhouse production of Blown Sideways Through Life for PBS.
