JOHN GLOVER won the Tony Award and an Obie Award for his performance as twin brothers in Love! Valour! Compassion! He has also been seen on Broadway in Tartuffe, Design for Living, Whodunit, Frankenstein, The Importance of Being Earnest, Holiday, Chemin De Fer, The Visit, Don Juan, and The Great God Brown, for which he won the Drama Desk Award. Off-Broadway Mr. Glover received the Bayfield Award for Best Classical Performance for The Winter’s Tale and last appeared in The Paris Letter; his other off- Broadway appearances include Sorrows and Rejoicings, Oblivion Postponed, Dicey, Rebel Women, The House of Blue Leaves, The Fairy Garden, Subject to Fits, Criminal Minds, and Treats. On television, Mr. Glover can currently be seen on Smallville. He has received five Emmy Award nominations for his previous television performances. His film credits include Payback, Batman and Robin, and Love! Valour! Compassion!, Gremlins 2, Scrooged, Masquerade, The Chocolate War, Rocket Gibraltar, 52 Pick Up, White Nights, The Incredible Shrinking Women, Melvin and Howard, Julia and Annie Hall. He can currently be seen in Terrence McNally’s new play, Some Men.
