Recent and notable projects include the Broadway productions of August Wilson’s Seven Guitars (1996 Tony Award nomination and Drama Desk Award, also presented at the Goodman Theatre, Huntington Theatre, Seattle Rep and the Alley Theatre) and Joe Turner’s Come and Gone (1988 Drama Desk Award nom.); The Notebooks of Leonardo Da Vinci at Second Stage (2004 Lortel nom.), Berkeley Rep and the Goodman Theatre; a remounting of his design for The Wizard of Oz at Minneapolis Children’s Theater; Journey to the West, I Am A Man and Baltimore Waltz at the Goodman Theatre; Macbeth at Commonwealth Shakespeare Company; The Rainmaker at Center Stage in Baltimore; Fair Game at Pittsburgh City Theater; Electra at Hartford Stage; Proof at the Geva Theatre; Tony Kushner’s Slavs! at the Steppenwolf Theatre and Steve Martin’s Picasso at the Lapin Agile Off-Broadway at the Promenade Theatre, Steppenwolf Theatre, and in Toronto, the United Kingdom, Japan, Turkey, Mexico and on tour throughout the United States. Other New York credits include Wendy Macleod’s Sin at Second Stage and Goodman Theater (directed by David Petrarca); An Unfinished Song at Provincetown Playhouse; Modigliani and The Return at Jewish Repertory Theater; the American premiere of Rick Johnson’s Cahoots at the South Street Theater; After Crystal Nacht and Trinity at New Federal Theater and Not Showing at Guinevere Theater. Mr. Bradley designed the sets for Late Night with David Letterman on NBC and painted a turn- of-the-century mural En Garde Arts’ production of Crowbar at the Victory Theatre at 42nd Street. Mr. Bradley was the Production Designer for two feature films including Pushing Hands, which was written and directed by Ang Lee. Selected regional credits include Topdog/Underdog at Oregon Shakespeare; Jitney at the Alley Theatre and Milwaukee Rep; Philip Glass’ Akhnaten (dir. Mary Zimmerman) at Boston Lyric Opera and Chicago Opera Theater, The Great White Hope (dir. Molly Smith) at Arena Stage; King Lear at Chicago Shakespeare Theatre; Smash and Enter the Guardsman at the Globe Theatre; The Idiots Karamazov and Ivanov at American Repertory Theatre; Oedipus and Dutchman at Hartford Stage; An Ideal Husband and A Servant of Two Masters at Milwaukee Rep; A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Ah, Wilderness! for the Huntington Theatre Company; Experiment with an Air Pump at Dallas Theatre Center; Alice in Wonderland at Minneapolis Children’s Theatre; and the Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park production of A Doll’s House. Mr. Bradley has also designed for Philadelphia Drama Guild, New Mexico Rep, A.C.T. and Yale Repertory Theatre. Upcoming projects include Picnic at Center Stage; Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? at Shakespeare Santa Cruz and Much Ado About Nothing at Commonwealth Shakespeare Company. Mr. Bradley is a graduate of Yale School of Drama.
