		S. Epatha Merkerson is currently in her 10th season as Lieutenant Van Buren on Law & Order. Merkerson received Tony and Drama Desk Best Actress nominations for her performance in The Piano Lesson. Merkerson can be seen in the upcoming films: The Rising Place, Jersey Girl and Radio.
